Flagship Programs

Through the Canada Biomedical Research Fund (CBRF) and the Biomedical Research Infrastructure Fund (BRIF), the Government of Canada has invested $72M in four HI³ programs. These flagship programs will provide critical health intelligence data for the co-development of health threat surveillance platforms and next-generation precision interventions, as well as training of workplace-ready talent to support Canada’s growing biomanufacturing and life sciences sector.
